Merchant Surcharge Program for Clover Payment Systems
Cardconnect Merchant Processing Services Account Requirements
Merchants are responsible for creating + displaying clear and prominent disclosure of the surcharge rate at the point-of-sale & point-of-entry / interface so cardholders know that surcharge applies when they pay by credit card. Surcharge cannot be applied to any debit transactions (including Visa/MC/Discover signature debit, PIN debit, PINless Debit and prepaid); merchants can accept debit cards, but surcharge will not be applied to any debit card transactions.
Merchant locations in CO, CT, KS, MA, PR and Armed Forces locations aren’t eligible.
Every merchant services account comes with a $3.50 monthly regulatory product fee and a $5.00 monthly TransArmor Clover security cost as well as a $5.00 a month Clover platform fee.
